Feeling blah, a case of the icks, in a funk… call it what you like. We all have our low moments. It’s okay to get down, just make sure you don’t stay there too long.
No. 1: Feel your feelings.
If you have the sensation of being on auto-pilot and just trudging through, it’s likely you aren’t in your feels.
Go to a private space. My personal spaces of choice are: the car, closet, bedroom, tub & shower.
Get quiet or journal out your feelings. This is a time to just be. Whatever comes up, remind yourself that you are safe.
If you need support, reach out to a trusted friend or loved one. Start the conversation by letting them know if you want advice or just a safe space to vent.
Another great option is therapy. I firmly believe that there is no shame in receiving therapy. When we recognize our needs and ask for support, we empower ourselves and build self-trust.
There are many therapy options that don’t require you to leave your house. I, personally, have a therapist via Talkspace.
I love the flexibility that comes with using their service. Talkspace will match you with a local, licensed therapist based off your individual preferences and background. You will receive anytime text message support, plus video or audio meetings through a secure app.
I meet with my therapist once per week for a video meeting and use the chat feature in between sessions.
You can use MY REFERRAL CODE for a $200 credit towards therapy via Talkspace.
*Note: This credit is limited to the first 20 participants.
No. 2: Get moving.
Sometimes, energy needs movement. I’m not suggesting that you move your feelings aside. Quite the opposite. This is an active transition. We are aware of our shift in energy while moving through our feelings. It is powerful.
Try a yoga flow on YouTube or just move your body intuitively. Go for a walk or jog. Punch something. (not someone, okay?)
Bottom line: Let yourself flow. Movement releases stagnation and creates space for inspiration.
No. 3: Clean something.
Yes, clean.
Clean your closet. Clean your car. Clean your bed sheets. Clean your camera roll. Clean up your social following. Clean out your inbox. Clean your body.
See yourself cleaning away the negative space and refreshing your energy to receive vibrance. If you choose the shower, try some of my personal favorites for cleansing below.

No. 4: Set intentions.
Ask yourself, what are my intentions?
Setting intentions builds a framework for our actions. We create purpose and direction for our lives when we know where we want to go and how we want to feel.
No. 5: Practice Gratitude.
Experiencing negative, low vibe energy is often due to a lack of gratitude for our current perception of reality.
We long for things. We regret things. We fear things. We are guilty about things.
A state of gratitude will help us connect to what is abundant and lovely in our lives, right now. It is then that we realize:
Life can be good, because life already is good.
